DLNA on LS420D NAS not working (system error occurred)

I have an LS420D NAS. Right now it has one 4TB drive in it. Everything seems to work except the DLNA server. I already flipped DLNA to ON. However, my AVR cannot see it (but it can see other devices just fine). I also have a test DLNA client on my laptop and it cannot see the NAS either.

The DLNA status keeps flipping between Enabled and Not Running. I already assigned one folder to have the DLNA check mark. That folder has only music. When I try to refresh the database I got the error message "a system error occurred. reboot the linkstation and try configuring it again." I tried to Initialize the database and got "No response from NAS". No matter what I try, I cannot get DLNA to work.

My firmware is 1.83. Please help me. Thanks.

There is a suggestion that the developers do not test 420 series devices to work with one disk/JBOD mode, I myself am suffering with 421DE. Try this option, only it is shareware, for Twonky 8.4.1 need license key http://forum.buffalo.nas-central.org/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=44467

Hi MiG174, thanks for the suggestion. Looks like I have to install SSH for the box, which is another problem. I couldn't get SSH to work with ACP Commander GUI. How did you get SSH to work? Thanks again.
