linkstation quad powers ON by itself!? why?

I have

Model Name LS-QL

Firmware Version 1.05

 

 

i have set up:

- power management -day of week: monday; time: awaken time 9:45, sleep time 14:30

- disk backup every week on monday at 13:15

 

So on mondays my sync programs sync linkstation and PC and a backup is done at 13:15.

 

but now it is a third sunday that linkstation turned on at around 15.00 

On monday (next day) sync is done and linkstation makes backup and at 14:30 it goes to sleep.

 

where is the problem?  I dont want linkstation to work all sunday... I just want it to work on monday for few hours to do all sync and backup jobs.

 

Is there anything I could check? so I could see  the reason of waking up?

- one other thing. I found out that if I turn off linkstation from Web User Interface it wont wake up at specified time. It will wake up only if it will go to sleep by itself (schedule - power management).

 

- so now when I have problem from previous post I cannot even turn off or put the linkstation to sleep, I must wait for monday to go to sleep by itself again.

 

Is there a way this could be done? for example: i use mondays to make sync.. but on wednesday I decide to copy something so I have to turn linkstation ON manually with a button (no wake on lan option) and then I "copy something" but what now? I must leave linkstation powered ON until monday when it will go to sleep.

 

simple: Can I somehow put my linkstation to sleep?
