files on my LinkStation LS-WV4 Saved with wrong date

The date of 1/1/2000 the date for most files on my LinkStation LS-WV4.0TL/R1.  It is appearing that the date issue started back in November 2016.  I use the storage with a Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 (both 64-bit).  I added an iMAC in early February and the same issue.

Any file I save, or copy to the Linkstation end up with the 1/1/2000 date with various times in the AM, ranging from 12AM to 11:59, but no relations to a time that I actually saved the file.

The date/time on the Linstation appears correct in the Admin section.  The Date and Time on my computers are correct.

Any ideas, would be appreciated.  Even Obvious ideas.  I am not shy at saying i may be too close to the issue to try things.
