NAS Navigator Shows Error, LinkStation GUI does not

Hi All!  I have given up being a lurker and here's my first question for the crowd:

I have an LS-WVL/R1,  Firmware 1.71, RAID 1 config

NAS Navigator 2 started reporting an E30 error on Drive 2, and indicating a replacement was needed.

I logged into the GUI with no problem, and it shows both the drives and the RAID array in Normal health.

I can connect to the SMB shares just fine, and the backups I run to the unit are not failing.

Just a NAS Navigator oddity, or is it catching something the GUI hasn't decided to alert on yet?

(My Google FU appears to be weak, I couldn't find anything related)

PM me a link to the logs for the unit and I'll have a quick look to see if the disk needs to be replaced, to get the log press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+b on the admin page, upload it to dropbox (or whatever hosting site) and PM me the link.

Hi,

I had a quick look at them, disk2 is showing SMART errors and 41 read/write errors so would definately need to be replaced.

Disk1 is also showing around 20 read/write errros but the SMART status is OK. It looks OK for the time being but you might want to keep an eye on it.

Make sure you have an up to date backup.
