I have successfully updated to firmware v3.0-r30355. However, only string 'v3.0-r30355 (09/13/16)' shown on the firmware. After a power lost, it reversed back to 'v3.0-r30355 std (09/13/16).'  I'd like to know what's going on and what's different.

Isn't r30355 a community build? So what has this got to do with Buffalo?

No, shockingly after several years of silence on the WZR-600DHP, Buffalo recently released an updated DD-WRT firmware. wzr600dhp-pro-v3.0-r30355.enc is now available in the support section for this router.
And re: the cosmetic "pro" display, i am under the impression that "Pro" simply refers to the differentiation between the original User Friendly Firmware and the DD-WRT lineage firmware versions. So If you have r30355 showing as your version, that should be the Pro version.
