I have a LS421DE running in raid 1 configuration and it is not now booting up.

• First sign of an issue it said the firmware needed to be updated. Linkstation was still visible in NAS Navigator 2.

• The device then failed to show in Nas Navigator 2 after rebooting the unit.

• I believe it is flashing red 6 times on the front of the unit.

• If I take the disks out and try to boot up, it flashes 6 times red as above

How do I get this unit in to some kind of recovery mode? I assume the raid controller is on the disk and possibly corrupt? I kinda hoped raid 1 would mean me not needing to back up the device and I am hoping the data is still in there, just can't be accessed at this time :)

Worst case scenario, has anyone had any experience with UFS explorer...?

Hi Tfx77,

I'm having the exact same problem.

I was wondering if you were able to getting it working again.

Thanks

Peter
