Hey guys

I'm wondering if any media servers, such as Plex and Kodi work with a Linkstation 220D. I'd love to be able to stream from this using my Chromecast.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks!

Plex don't work since you need a server running that and the Buffalo don't have it. Kodi works since it uses SMB.

Not familiar with chromecast and Kodi, whether u install it or u need a 3rd device like android to stream it.   FireTV is a much better option.

The LinkStation does have built-in DLNA support but I don't know if there is a media player for Chromecast that supports DLNA. I am able to stream media to a Roku from a LinkStation without a problem.
