Checking LS-X2.0TL

I am checking my 2TB LS-X2.0TL and it has been in checking drive mode for over 24 hours. I am hoping to completely reformat the drive as I have been getting errors. I can't seem to get out of checking mode through the webportal and I have no way of seeing progress, is this normal for a 2TB drive?
