I have just installed a 1 TB DriveStation and have access. Now I need to find a way to cause the DriveStation to automatically start after a power loss when the power is restored. This is for a remote installation that runs on solar power and occassionally loses AC power.

Any ideas?

I have a Buffalo Link Station Live 500gb HS - DH500GL

I have the same problem and would like the disc to auto restart if power goes off?

With the linkstation live this is not possible im afraid. You will need to press the power button to restart the unit.
PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.

You might want to use a ups that has a battery until the power returns. There is no auto start on this unit.
