Really struggling with this error....

I backup one TeraStation to the other (e.g. "A" to "B") and use one for a 'live' NAS where files are accessed by users.  Suddenly, this started failing with the above rsync error.

I read the posts:  update firmare, reset TeraStation...

Took advice to update firmware.  Updated on all TeraStations (TS-WXL).  Succeeded without a problem.

Updated admin password, added users and restricted access.  Rebooted TeraStations.

Tried to setup backups again.  "A" cannot see "B".  Tried to set up an 'immediate' backup and my source drives show up but none of the target drives show up.

Please help... I'm getting really frustrated.  I want backups to just work all the time.  I didn't expect to have to update firmware and reconfigure the entire NAS just to get backups going again.

Setup up 'Disk Backup' on each folder...

Looks like it is backing up now.

Why does every operation take 5 - 10 sec (applying settings and loading data)?  Is there any way to speed this up?
