Wanted: Opinions on BitTorrent implemention in LinkStation 441e

I have a LinkStation LS-WXL, the the BitTorrent implementation is great.  It looks just like uTorrent, and it supports all the features I need, like partial seeding and the ability to disable DHT/PEX/LPD.

My question: is the BitTorrent implemention in LinkStation 441e nearly as good?  The user manual says, "the download manager is similar to 'µTorrent'", but I don't find that very helpful in making my decision.

I think I want to replace my NAS soon, because the old one is slow, I am running out of space, and one of the drives is failing.  Yes I am rationalizing here, but I don't want to replace the LS-WXL with a box that has poorer BitTorrent support.

Thanks!

Texturtle, thank you!  Has the BitTorrent branded client been updated or is it the same version running on the LS-WXL firmware 1.71?  The BitTorrent branded client on the LS-WXL work great in IE 11, but not great in Chrome (Version 51.0.2704.103 m (64-bit)).

I'm not sure what version runs on the LS-WXL. The LS-441 runs version 3.2.

How do I tell what version my LS-WXL is running?  I have looked over the entire UI, including all the preference pages, and I don't see any version number.

Thanks again,
Ken

I don't have one handy, but there may be a "help" or "about" button that could get you the version number.
