LS-WVL/R1 Series for LinkTheater LT-90

To Whom It May Concern:
   I have a LinkStation LS-WVL/R1 and cannot get it to work with the LinkTheater LT-90.  The LinkTheater recognizes the LS-WVL/R1 server and the shared folders but I am not able to login.  The LinkTheater provides a message stating incorrect password but I know that I am using the correct login credentials.  Is the  LinkStation LS-WVL/R1 compatible with the LinkTheater LT-90?  If not, is there a comparable player I can use such as Apple TV?

Why not just use the DLNA feature on the LinkTheater instead of trying to access it via the network location?
