TeraStation 7000 cannot join Active Directory domain

Hello --

We have a new TeraStation 7000 and are attempting to join it to our company's Active Directory domain.

Following the instructions, a pop-up error tells us:
"Participation in the Active Directory domain failed".
"Check the settings of the Active Directory domain and check the Administrator username and password."

Our I/S domain admin has tried several administrative accounts, but the same error occurs.

On the TeraStation side, in the system log, we see this:

Any suggestions would be most helpful.
We are running the latest firmware, as we just updated it today.

I would also be curious what the message "This platform doesn't support any mtd." means.   It's not clear to me.

BTW -- we have used older Buffalo TeraStations in the past, and have been able to get them to join our domain.  Perhaps something is different with the newer TeraStation 7000 series?

Assuming the DNS on the Teraststion is set as the IP address of the DC? Time and date on the terastation and DC synced?

Thanks for the reply.
We tried multiple times today, and eventually got frustrated and walked away from it.
Came back about two hours later, and tried it again (in preparation for calling the customer support phone number), and it worked!
So, it's on the Active Directory domain now, and everything is seemingly OK.
Our I/S admin guy said that he did make a couple of changes in trying to get it to work -- so perhaps it just takes some time for some of the changes to percolate their way through the domain controller(s), etc.
In any event - it does work, if you are patient (which we are generally not).
