LS-WTGL/R1-V3 disk 2 Not Configured

I have had this NAS for several years and now it won't work and I get the following error message from the disk manager:

RAID Settings

RAID Array Name     RAID Array 1

RAID Mode               RAID0

Disk Structure

Disk 1     RAID Array 1     HDS721010KLA330      931.5 GB

Disk 2     Not Configured

An error in a RAID Array has been detected.
Stored data in this RAID Array can`t be recovered because RAID0 disks are damaged.
Select `Delete Array` to remove this Array.

I removed the disk 2 and connect it to a pc and the windows didn't recognize the disk!
So I think the disk 2 could be dead.

Any idea hoe can I get it to work or to recover the data from disk 1?

Since this was configured as RAID 0 there is no redundancy and the data is most likely unrecoverable. A data recovery service like Drivesavers may be to help. http://buffalotech.com/support-and-downloads/data-recovery

If the disks is dead then data recovery will probably not be possible, if it is possible then you are looking at a cost of thousands of dollars to recover it.
