Hello. I recently got a notification that there was a firmware update available for this unit, so I figured I would go ahead and do it in hopes of better performance for streaming video.

The problem is now the unit will not come back online, not discoverable through NasNavigator or as any connected network device from multiple computers.

Support has told me to get lost due to the unit being out of warranty.

The unit lights up, spins fine, the LED is blinking Blue. There is no USB on this device of I would just plug it in and extract the files that way.

I have tried to log directly into the unit via 192.169.11.1 and still got nothing. (I kind of expected this since it seems just the network part of the drive seems to be affected by this bad firmware push.)

Two questions: Can I pull the drive out ot the case and somehow extract the files that way? And Has anyone else had this issue?
