power light flashing hours?

I know what you are going to to say pull the drives. i did that i took the drive (last one) i put it in windows and did a diskpart sel dis (disk number) clean. still no change. I had a qnap and it read all of these drives and allowed me to create the raid arrary. The issue is i think is that each of the 4 drives in my linkstation 441e with updated firmware is they are 5TB each. i have read that the max storage is 16TB (for the qnap anyway) however i want to put them in a raid 5 so that would be only 13. something TB arrary. Again QNAP could do this, QNAP sucked and died within 48 hours of me receiving it from newegg. is there some trick to get the linkstation to do it? perhaps some modification i can make via ssh
