Hey everyone - happy holidays.

I have a LS-CH1 that mysteriously stopped working a couple of months back (guessing it a surge or something although nothing else on that circuit or in the house for that matter was affected). I have had the unit forjust oevr a year..

Soon after it happened I flashed the unit which was in EM mode to ver 1.54 and all seemed to be going well until I couldn't log in. I attempted to reset via function button procedure (hold funtion button, power on unit, hit function button once while flashing) but couldnt get it to work. Frustrated and out of time I left it alone for a while.

Now that I had some free time, I came back but was still unable to reset the password via function button approach. So I forced EM mode via power down approach (as noted in these forums), flashed on the ver 1.56. Still unable to log in so I again attempted to reset multiple times through the function button.

I have diligently tried to read all the posts and information I could find on the issue before resorting to posting...if I missed something please just point it out and I will go work it from there.

Any other ideas? Not quite sure what options I have although am ready to go much more drastic to get at the information stored on it.

Thanks in advance.

Paul

Use this file to recover the unit, its should not erase any data:
