Hi. I have created a folder Folder1 using web interface. Then created a user USER1. Then setup a restriction for that folder to be accessed only by USER1. There is also a default share called SHARE that does not have any restrictions. It is mapped in my windows explorer and the path is \\LS-CHL\Share. Once I apply the settings for FOLDER1, I cannot access SHARE folder anymore without entering the password. In other words, instead of having password just for FOLDER1, it seems like it password protects the whole drive. So I can't access SHARE folder without entering a password for that user I created just for FOLDER1. I'm using Windows 7 and my LC-CHL firmware is ver 1.3. I did not upgrade the firmware yet. So the question is: is it a normal behavior or is it something wrong with my setup? I wanted to have a public share and protected share on this drive. But for the public share - I shouldn't be entering password. Can you shed some light on this issue? Thanks.

Something wrong period. Setting folder restrictions on one folder should not effect the other ones. Download latest firmware and update. See if that resolves Your issue.
