Hey all,

I recently switched from a PC to Macbook and I'd really like to get the HD-PNTU3 to work on it but when it's plugged into my macbook password.exe doesn't activate and I am unable to access anything. I currently still have access to my old PC and I am in possession of the password. Is there any way to remove it so I can also access the drive on my Macbook. Thanks.

You have to go back to PC, remove the password and then you can use it with the Mac if its not formatted as NTFS. If it is, you need to move off all your data and reformat it to FAT or ExFAT. Recommend calling buffalo tech support to guide you on how to remove the password when you get a hold of a windows computer.
Units I own: TS-XL, TS-WXL, LS-WVL, TS-RXL,  TS5400, TS-RVHL,

I don't work for Buffalo but i do love there products enough to help people
