Problems with Linkstation Live 1TB (LS-CHL F/W 1.07) after 1.07 Upgrade...

Forum,

 

I have this device and recently installed this firmware upgrade.  Every since then, Memeo autobackup says the destination device is unavailable and when I try and connect to L: my mapped drive -- it says something like the local device name is already in use.  I have disconnected and remapped to L several times and it works for a while and then a reboot of the linkstation is needed.

 

Then if I unplug or restart the linkststation all is well again for a period of time, but not enough to do backups.

 

One other problem is that the NASNavigator software never finds the device anymore (this was happening before the upgrade).  I am running Windows Vista 32 bit.

 

Note that other device (Linksys NAS200) never has a problem and is always there.

 

What's going on?  Anyone have any thoughts?

1. Another computer/NAS/router is using the same IP as your Linkstation Live.

 

2. Try changing your map drive letter.

 

3. Make sure the fan is spinning when it gets hot.
