Linkstation BitTorrent & Router problem

Hi to all!

i'm a new user of buffalo linkstation, i have buy this product for the interesting feature Bittorrent.

But i have a problem.. i see that the router after 3 hours of good work with Linkstation Bittorrent active, it crash!

With my bittorrent client installed on my computer i can change the number of max simultaneus connection and this solve the problem, but with Buffalo LinkStation how i can change this parameter?

p.s. my Buffalo Linkstation is: 500GB LS-CH500L

   Get yourself a decent router or see if you can find a better FW for it.

   I found that the BT client coming with Linkstation is very limited and buggy. The biggest issue I have with it is when there is the interruption (i.e. BT client stops and restarts), you have to say goodbye to whatever was partially downloaded and start it all over again by deleting the whole bittorent folder. Otherwise, it won't do anything.

   Funny, the BT client in my LS-XHL works flawlessly and is used often ;)

ok guys,the problem seems to be solved!

i go crazy with the old router... a linksys: BEFSX41. I have changed the firmware but without good results. The problem its the same! every time the Linkstation run Bittorrent in 3 hours the Router crash!!

I buy a new router and is working very very gooooddd!! im so happy!! 

 

I have buy a Linksys WRT54G2, it a very good product! i like it. :smileyvery-happy:

 

But i have only some question for the Buffalo Staff:  :smileysad:

 

_Why you dont insert inside the settings panel the number of maximum connection allowed for the bittorrent same as the original version for pc??

_Why every time i put off my linkstation all the bittorrent settigs is lost??

Glad it's working.

 

I wish my bittorrent setting stayed intact as well.
