Prompted for Password at set-up ... what password?

Device: DriveStation FlexNet : 1TB : HD-CELU2

Software: NASNavigator2 (for Mac)

OS: Mac OSX (Panther)

 

Trying to install the NASNavigator software to no avail. Keeps prompting me for a password and makes me reboot after three tries. Tried my local admin user pw, network admin pw (wouldn't make sense since its not even connected to my network yet ... but had to try at least), generic pw (e.g. administrator, admin and nothing). Nothing works and cannot proceed.

 

Not sure if I'm missing something.

 

The goal is to connect this to my home wireless network. 

 

The drive is recognized via USB, but I want to make use of all of the nice software included in the package.
