I recently purchased BUFFALO LinkStation Pro Duo 2-Bay Diskless Enclosure High Performance Network Attached Storage (NAS) - LS-WVL/E.  Everything is working well.  I have two 4TB drives on a Raid 0 array so it is just a single 8TB partition on my network.  In all of the software and features I cannot figure out how to encrypt the array.  Windows Bitlocker cannot see this as an external drive.  How can I encrypt this array?  Thanks!

I am 100% sure these units dont offer that. Only the higher end units for business do. There called the TeraStations.

The only 2 encryption  features in this unit are the webaccess https setting for accessing with https instead of http and the option to encrypt backups from one unit to another. This only encrypts during xfer. Once the data is in the unit, it will not be encrypted.
Units I own: TS-XL, TS-WXL, LS-WVL, TS-RXL,  TS5400, TS-RVHL,

I don't work for Buffalo but i do love there products enough to help people
