Replacement SATA port daughter board?

Hello.

My TS-X8.0TL/R5 unit  I think has a bad sata port.

No mater which hard drive I put in that particular slot will show as a broken/error drive. I tried it on 4 different drives and all the same outcome.

I looked at the SATA ports very carefully and the one that is causing trouble appears to be wobbling and loose. It looks like that SATA ports are all connected to a separate daughterboard card which is attached to the motherboard in one of the replaceable slots( much like a network card or graphic card in a PC)

I am wondering if there is anyway to get a replacement of this SATA daughterboard ?

You do know you need to rebuild the raid before the error goes away right? It will show any replacement disk as "faulty" (e30) until this is done.

The only options it gives me is to " rediscovered" the disk. and it don't rediscover any disk I put in there. What other options do I have when that does not work?

I think the physical connection is bad on the SATA port.

The SATA port is physical wobbling when I touch it(the other 3 don't wobble at all)  and I believe there is a loose physical connection on the port itself.

I have no data in the array so I am free to try the next step in trying to fix this.
