Cannot rebuild array LS-WV2.0TLR1 1.65 Firmware

Disk 2 reported beyond the threshold of sector errors. I could not find a new 1TB disk, so I put in a WD 2TB as disk2.  When the machine came back up, it reported both disks correctly - but the Rebuild Array button was disabled / greyed.

After looking through this forum, it seems that I needed to update the firmware. I successfully installed 1.65.

It is now reported disk2 with "error" (no additional details) and it will not let me do anything with it - Check,  Format, Remote, etc

Rediscover Disks is also greyed out. The disk name is detected correctly, but that is all.

Not sure where to proceed from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
