Hi Guys

I have a weird networking issue with my BUFFALO LinkStation Pro 2.0TB. PN: LS410D0201-AP

I cannot connect or ping the Buffalo NAS when it's connected to a NETGEAR GS105 5Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch.

Network setup: Billion modem cabled to Netgear switch. HP laptop cabled to Netgear switch. Buffalo Nas cabled to Netgear switch. In that configuration the Buffalo cannot be detected by ping. If I plug it directly into the Billion modem it works ok. I've tried using other devices  on the Negear switch and I can connect to them ok. I've also tried the Buffalo on another port.

I'm running the latest Buffalo firmware and I've updated to the latest network card drives on the HP laptop. I've also tried Jumbo packets on the HP and Buffalo.

Is there a compatibility issue with Buffalo and this model Netgear switch? What do you guys think?

Kind Regards
Aaron
