LS-W1.0TGL Stuck in EM mode

   After a power failure, my Link Station went into EM mode, at least thats what the Buffalo NAS Navigator reports.  It shows the IP address I assigned, and the Firmware box has dashes.  I can ping the unit, but I cannot access it.  I tried updating the firmware, but it tells me that a Linkstation is not connected.  Any suggestions?

Did you make sure to disable all firewalls?  Try booting your CPU into safe mode with networking as that will eliminate any possible software conflicts.  Also try the force firmware proceedure here:
