Transfering bittorrents

I've recently purchased a 1TB Livelink NAS (LS-CHL F/W 1.07) and I'm amazed by how useful a product it is - with a few tweaks (better bittorrent client, telnet, etc) this could become a massive seller! Just two quick questions: I have a variety of very large (legal!) torrents that I tend to keep up all day; is there any way of copying the files over to the NAS and pointing the torrent to them, or will I have to start downloading my own torrent to get the client to recognise it? If I can move torrents, is it possible to do this with partially complete torrents, so if I'm downloading something and need to shut down that machine I can transfer it to the NAS and use the built in client to finish the job?

Thanks!

Ben
