CS-X1 - problem after factory reset

Here is my story.

My unit's led kept flashing blue continuously after a power loss.

I managed to get it into em mode and re-flash the unit's firmware :)

All good, but wouldn't accept my username or password.
So I downloaded a file I saw on these forums and  reset the password.
All good, but lost access to my data.
So I choose to do a factory reset and free up my storage space (took a couple of days).
After that completed I restarted the unit and it did a format that took another day.
Now I can create users, but not folders, it tells me to go into storage settings and in there it tells me to click on disk setup but there is no option or button to click :(

any ideas?

Update:

after restarting the NAS a couple of times, it comes up with "formatting the disk" and won't let me access any other menu options. (it did this before and took about a day).

Also under NAS navigator it lists the device as unknown and doesn't show a harddrive :(

Here is an image using NAS navigator showing the CS-XL drive as unknown.

And the other image is showing the storage menu (sorry it is in Japanese) telling me to set up the hard drive, but there is no option to do so.

Thanks again

update:

Still no luck with the drive. I've given up on it.
I have purchased a Synology Diskstation to replace it, a bit more expensive but shouldn't give me these issues that this drive has.

A shame as the cloudstor was nice and simple to use when it is working :)

In future i might take the drive out of the cloudstor and put it into a 3.5" enclosure to see if the drive itself is still ok.
