webacces problem: can't get passed "username and/or key are already in use"

I have a LS410D NAS and i'm having trouble with the buffaloNAS.com registration/
My deepest apologies for posting this here and i already read a topic like this which said to reset the linkstation and use different accountname but i've tried this 3 times with a lot of different account names and i still get the error message "The account name chosen has either already been taken by another device, or the key entered is incorrect. Please try another name and/or key."

can anyone please help ?
