The previous manager here was asked to leave for many reasons - among them the failure to document passwords to critical systems. I have a TeraStation Pro in the office environment and have no way to administer it because the admin password was changed, not documented, then forgotten. Is there any way to reset this short of shooting the thing?

You can open the front door then hold in the Reset button for 30 seconds.

Buffalo does have an option in the software stating "if the unit is reset do not default the admin password"

So depending on what option they have selected, you may be able to get in.
