Hi,

I've got a Buffalo 6TB (2 x 3TB) LinkStation Duo NAS.  I set it up for redundancy (can't remember which RAID it is, the one which halves the disk space but allows you to recover if one of the drives fails).  Anyway all has been working fine for 6 months, but now all of a sudden when I power on the NAS there's no disk spinning and no fan spinning at the back of the unit, although there's a green light on at the back, telling me that there's power I presume.

So my question is... do I need to return it or is there something I can do myself?  And my second question is, can I return it without the hard drives inside, because it's got my dev code/data on and I don't want to mail it off with an RMA.

Thanks.
