I came across the following admonition in the docs for my new DriveStation Axis Velocity: "Do not boot your operating system from the DriveStation."

Does this mean what it seems to? I had intended to use the Buffalo drive to make a bootable clone of my internal drive (iMac running OS 10.8). I asked tech support this question on Monday and haven't heard back, so after searching fruitlessly I thought I would try this forum. Thanks.
