Will DLNA still work with a Time Capsule?

Hello,

 

I currently have a time capsule as my main router and I am considering the purchase of one of the Linkstation Live series products. I was wondering, even though the Time capsule does not support UPNP, will my machines (Vista, Mac OS, and Playstation 3) be able to see it as a DLNA server on the network?

 

I have not really seen any clear answers to this question and I have not seen requirements for DLNA online.

Basically, UPnP does not even factor into this situation. Any device on your LAN that is DLNA compatible should be able to see this device and the media that is therefore stored on it and made available by the NAS' DLNA function.

Alright, thank you. I was under the impression that in order for DLNA to work, the router needed to support UPnP.

Not usually the case if you're on the same local network but if you're accessing your network remotely I would see that factoring into it.
