Physical Format of 750GB Buffalo Drivestation in Windows XP Home

   Can anyone tell me how long I can expect a physical format of a 750GB Drivestation using the Disk Formatter utility? I am already at 1024 minutes and counting and it will soon be 2009 :). I hope someone can help me with an estimate of how long I will have to wait. Many Thanks

   When i formatted my 650gig drivestation from the web pannel in lan mode it took like 3 minutes.

It will take a few hours, the speed of your PC and how many resources its using has a lot to do withit.  But a full formatt will take a while.
