500 GB ministation HD PEU2 connection

I just installed the device today on my Mac iBook G4. After I downloaded most of my files, I connected the device to another computer (iMac G5), but the icon doesn't appear.  

How do I make it connect? 

Appreciate any help on this.

Did you hook up the secondary DC/USB cable to the drive? Most issues I've ran into are solved by this :)

   I appreciate the advice, but how do I connect a secondary cable? There is only one connection port on the device. Or do you mean use a different cable than the one that came with it?

My apologies some of our MiniStations came with a USB data connection and a DC jack where an auxilary USB cable could be plugged in on such occasion. If the device worked with one computer I would suggest restarting the one that is not working with your external storage.
