Linkstation QUAD network and Acronis questions

I tried backing up my Quad today using Acronis Workstation which I use for all my backups for years now.  I use drive maps on my Vista PC.  For example my music is on drive M:  Acronis sees the drive map when setting up the backup but when it performs the backup it says M: is not found.  I tried to backup via the network but Acronis can't see it and Vista Network also does not show it.  My workgroup is workgroup in the LS.  Should the NAS show up in the network area?  If so what could be the issue?  I also use no access restrictions for my shares.

It should be showing up. What does the firmware version in NAS Navi show?
