Hello,

Added WD Mybook usb 1 TB usb to my TerraStation.  It sees the drive.  I formated it to be shared and it is seen on the network but as Read Only.  I checked the writable option but it seems to do no joy.

The usb drive is formated NTFS.  According to documentation I should be able to write to it over the network.  Is there some other configuration that needs to be done?

Of course after posting I found this information about the Linkstation:

http://www.buffalotech.com/knowledgebase/users/kb.php?id=10123&category_id=8&sid2" target="_blank">http://www.buffalotech.com/knowledgebase/users/kb.php?id=10123&category_id=8&sid2=

that talks about NTFS file is only readable and in order to make it writeable I need to format the drive by the Buffalo NAS.

Nowhere in my Terrastation Online manual does it say this!
