Is there anyway to recover the data from the drive, when this message comes up "unable to locate internal HDD"?  I when I run NASNavigator2 it does not find the LS-750GL. It does find an older LS with 150GB drive, so I think the problem is only with LS-750GL.  When I turn on the LS-750GL it makes high long beep and the red LED flash code for 16. Any suggestions?

I am willing to take it in in for service and have pulled apart if needed.

cheers

You can try plugging the unit directly into your comp and boot into EM mode (hold the reset button as you power it on), then see if the Navigator can find it.

If it is an issue with the drive (and not a physical one) you can try plugging it into a Linux computer as that can read the XFS file system on the drive.
