Newbie Question 1 - Deleting "Shared Folders" I added

I just purchased the LS-CH1.0TL.  I read through the manual and tried adding a couple of shared folders in the Web utility.  I would like to delete what I have added ("Share-Test" and "ShareiTunes" ).  When I look at the help, it says to mark the check box and click on Delete, however there is no check box next to these to select in order to delete them.

Are you accessing the unit by typing its IP address into a web browser? You said in the "web utility" and so, this could mean the web gui (typing the IP address into a web browser) or through buffalonas.com (web access).

 

If you are accessing it by typing its IP into an address bar, then, what browser are you using? I ask because I just tested this on an XP machine using Firefox v. 2.0.0.20, Internet Explorer v. 6 and a Mac running OS 10.5 in Safari and saw checkboxes all times.

I used the "Open Web" option within NAS Navigator2.  I am using Safari on OS 10.4.11.

   In the nas navigator, it gives you the IP address for the unit. If you type that IP address into Safari's address bar, you then have access to the web interface of the device (this is basically just a different means of achieving the same end) - once under Shared Folders, it lists the different folders that you've set up on the device itself - through here, you only have the ability to delete folders that were created as shared folders on the unit. If accessing the unit in this way does not help, downloading Firefox and then accessing the web interface of the device via Firefox might be your next option.
