when you make a share anonymously accessible via web access, you're directly guided to this share when you login via buffalonas.com. Is there any way that you can force to be prompted for a username/password and that way be directed to the non anonymously shares on the linkstation.

Paul

If you enable access restrictions on the unit then it will be a hidden folder with out the proper authentication.

The problem is NOT this share. I would indeed like it to be anonymously accessible. The problem is that when I have this share, I'm redirected directly to this share when I log in from buffalonas.com. What I like to do it to gain access to my other share "othershare", which have access restrictions applied.

Paul

With out the login information it will only take you to the share with out access restrictions.  I will pass up this request Please visit buffalotech.com for future firmware updates.
