Replacing all drives in a Terastation

I want to upgrade my 250GB drives to 750GB or 1TB drives.  Other than backing up my data, are there any restrictions  or "gotchas" that I need to be aware of?

Upgrading the capacity of the device is not covered under warranty, therefore it will void your warranty.

 

All that aside, the quickest way to do it would be to use the TFTP Boot Recovery procedure here:

Then flash the firmware using the force procedure, making sure you check all four config options:
