OK, I'm going nutz.

I tried to format my TS 1000 GL and it took two days. Now I can't access it at all. No NAS, no network, no drive letter, it doesn't even show up on the router as being connected. (no lights on that port)

I can't flash the firmware, if it doesn't show up on the network. Now what????

Whats the model number for the unit? Do you know the FW version you had on it?

What OS are you using on your comp?

Does it display any errors?

Have you tried booting into EM mode?

I had similar issue when trying to format my LS-Live, It ran for many hours without finishing. The Tech had me use the "Updater" to format or "Rebuild the Drive" and it work in about 20-30 Min.

Thanks!

Dean

Its an LS 1000 GL, Firmware is 1.15.

What is EM mode?

I was able to get NAS to see it, but its not connected to my workgroup. Can't access browser, NAS when I try to assign IP, fails, and view shares gives me a network problem.

I have vista.

Has something to do with partition? I have no shares, so I can't view them, but I can't make any shares cuz I cna't access browser.
