Hello all,

I have the Terastation 5800D with 8 x 2TB drives.  I am curious if it is possible (and what the procedure is) to upgrade the 2TB drives to 4TB?  Any information appreciated.

Technically possible but it would void your warranty.

PM me for TFTP / Boot Images / Recovery files  LSRecovery.exe file.
Having network issues? Drop me an email: info@interwebsireland.com and we will get it fixed!

Have i helped you? Buy me a coffee as a thanks!

Yes sir..I do understand that.

However, between putting in 8 x 4TB drives vs buying the 32TB model, my finances can't handle the second option.  Do you know the procedure and would you care to share if you do?
