I am trying to setup my Tera station Pro TS-HTGL/R5. Can someone please help me?

Whats the problem?

Failed to join Active Directory Domain.
Please confirm the Active Directory
Domain setting information, Administrator user name and password.

I am asuming that the "Active directory Name (NetBios Name)" would be my current domain name with out the .local behind it. The same with "Active Directory Domain Name (DNS/Realm Name)" "Active Directy Name" would be the name of the Domain Controller. Admin user name and password would be the network admin for the network, does the admin have to have any special rights or anything? WINS Server IP i am not sure what this is.

What server version are you using and firmware is installed?

Also, since when is this unit supported with AD for Server 2008R2? Answer = Never!

 

Eitherway, 99% of the time it is down to an incorrect setttings you are entering on the TS to join the domain, first of all, update to the latest firmware version (1.35) then reset the device via the admin page and then try to rejoin the domain.
