LS-WXL. No Red Lights

Hi. I have just been given the above mentioned staorage. When i start it up the Blue light flashes and then goes steady but there are no Red lights as described on a youtube video i checked.

I have plugged it into a Laptop and a switch on the network and i cant see it.

Please can you help?

what is your problem with your linkstation? what is not working?  (Except that you dont like blue color but red color)

 

Blue light - everything is fine

Red light - an error happened

You need to have a router on your network in order for your storage device to get an IP address.
