TeraStation Live E06 Error in EM Boot

Hi,

 

I have a TeraStation Live (HS-DH0.0TGL/R5) that fail to boot with a E04 error (in normal boot) and when I try to run the TFTP the TS fail to boot in EM mode with the error E06

 

I tried to remove one disk at a time to see if one was defective, no success...

Also, I can't use the TFTP since the TS is unable to be pingned.

 

Any idea would be really apreciated

When you took one disk out at a time did you try to boot into EM Mode with the other three drives in?

I did that sequence and tried to boot each time but no luck.

 

However, I managed to access the TS by TFTP when I put a new hdd in and booted in normal mode (Same problem if I boot in EM). There's still the E06 Error but I can access the TS. The problem is, When I tried to put the firmware on, the error ACP_STATE_FAILURE after I said yes to the formating prompt. I also tried to put 2 hdd in it but still the same message. Would it only work when the TS has 4 hdd in it?

 

The firmware file I'm installing is: hs-dhtgl-up_214_102

okay, so now your able to get the unit to boot but it will not let you load FW on it correct?

Try to boot with four drives in and then do a force update with deleting userconfig... If that gives you the same error "ACP_STATE_FAILURE"  then try the same force update but also UNcheck "Update BOOT" (since you were able to get that loaded with TFTP).
