Hello, I have 2 questions:

 

1) will my Terastarion Pro support this UPS - APC Back-UPS? (withou Smart signaling):

BK500EI
BR800I

There is USB communication cable, should it be used or I need to order COM cable from APC too?

 

 

2) Is there no support for Terastation Live? According to user manual there is no UPS settings in management.

APC UPS units will work with Terastation Pro only if it supports Smart Signalling. If your unit is a Terastation Pro II (TS-Hx.xTGL/R5), it may work with USB UPS, but not for sure.

 

Terastation Live does not have UPS support.

The following link provides instruction on how to activate UPS support on the TS Live. I have not attempted this myself.
