G'Day guys,

Just checking if there might be something I'm missing,

Ive have the LS-QVL with 4x 2tb Samsung Drives running in a RAID 5 for a few years now, so over the last 3 months ive been upgrading the drives one by one (without loosing data) to 3tb RED WD drives.

I've just finally finished the last one with a rebuild, and it still says I've only got 6tb of space....... I should have 8tb...it hasnt recognized the increased sized of the drives.

I've done the same with my Netgear and moved from 1tb's to 2tb's and it "expanded" the space accordingly.......does the BUFFALO not do this?

Its currently running Firmware 1.40 and I'm in process of downloading 1.64.

Anyone else attempted/failed/success a "Expanded" RAID5 space?

Thanks!!
