Buffalo Linkstation Duo - Diskless (LS-WXL) - error Blinking issue...

Hi,

 

I followed all the steps in getting an unpartitioned 1Tb, put it in the unit and waited for the two lights pressed the function button and away it went, exactly 15 mins later all I see is the Red Info/Error light blinking in a sequence, I left it for a few HOURS and its still blinking, this is a brand new unit and the Hard drive is a brand new Hitachi 1Tb 7200rpm.

 

I believe the blinking sequence reveals the E22 error, i.e mounting error..., I am sure many would have come across this, but this is a brand new unit is there something I can do ? or should I wait longer ? or is there a fix ?

Yay, got it to work...

 

For future reference:

 

Download the Latest Firmware > Install it takes a long time about 20-30 mins > Everything is Automated Once finished just refresh NASNavigator2 and presto/finito !
